Lucinda Childs is an American postmodern dancer/choreographer and actress. Her compositions are known for their minimalistic movements yet complex transitions. Childs is most famous for being able to turn the slightest movements into an intricate choreographic masterpiece. Her use of patterns, repetition, and dialect has caused her to have a unique style of choreography that is often imitated for its ability to experiment.

Heinz Mack (born March 8, 1931) is a German artist. Together with Otto Piene he founded the ZERO movement in 1957. He exhibited works at documenta in 1964 and 1977 and he represented Germany at the 1970 Venice Biennale. He is best known for his contributions to op art, light art and kinetic art.
Dara Birnbaum was born in 1946 in New York. She received her BA in architecture at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh in 1969 and subsequently worked in the Lawrence Halprin & Associates architectural firm in New York City. Her work with the firm instilled a lifelong consideration of civic space and exploration of the relationship between private and public spheres in mass culture. Soon after she decided to study art and graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1973 with a BFA in painting.
Robert Longo was born in 1953 in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Long Island. He had a childhood fascination with mass media: movies, television, magazines, and comic books, which continue to influence his art.
WASTELAND. New Art from Los Angeles
The exhibition "Wasteland. New Art from Los Angeles" is taking place in two parallel venues in Paris, the Mona Bismarck American Center and Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac Paris Pantin, from 12 March to 17 July 2016. The curator, Shamim M. Momin, Director and Curator of LAND (Los Angeles Nomadic Division) has brought together the work of fourteen artists.

LEE BUL for MISS DIOR 2013
On the occasion of MISS DIOR exhibition in November 2013, at Grand Palais, Paris, Lee Bull took a spacial place with her installation Cella, (2012-2013). This video shows the installation process of the massive art work.

Born in 1964, Lee Bul is a contemporary sculpture and installation artist whose work questions patriarchal authority and the marginalization of women by revealing ideologies that permeate our cultural and political spheres. These themes take form in cold, mechanical sculptures and installations that reflect the ideals of a futuristic society.
